stormyskystudio I hate to tell you this but these run VERY large for 29s. Typically size 29 means very close to 29" around. Mine are 14" across on each side, 14 x 2, hence size 28. Sadly will be huge on me, waaah ! Thank you sooooo much for getting back to me hand all your info ! Happy 4Th ! Erika

stormyskystudio 8" is considered mid rise, (the measurement the posher who sold these to you had in her original listing), and what I always wear in diesel. ...waah again, thanks again !
