The reason why I made this recipe journal is because I heard lots of stories, and sometimes I wasn’t happy what my patients ate when they went back home, a few patients had also no idea what to prepare for them self. So hopefully with this recipe guide you will not run out of ideas to prepare breakfast lunch and/or dinner for yourself.
The first thing you want to aim for post-surgery is to fill up your body with important healthy nutrients, to heal faster. You need to intake healthy foods. Please do me a favor, fast foods should not be in your vocabulary.
What are “Healthy Foods”? They are slow foods that take your body a while to digest. Healthy foods help you stay full longer and are filled with nutrients. When shopping for post-op foods, focus on protein, iron, vitamin C, fiber, magnesium, and zinc.
