prettythings_05 Poshmark usually sides with the buyer. I sold a chanel belt & the buyer received it, cut it, then filed a refund & posh approved it. & I reached out to posh, stating this person cut the belt themselves & they issued me site credit for $35. & the buyer did this to many other poshers. Even though we had reported the buyer several times, posh didn’t take down her accounts or anything

nadira1982 They definitely side with the buyer. Some of the people on here are very dishonest and try to scam you by wearing your item then send it back and say something was wrong with it. It’s really sad that Poshmark will side with the buyer knowing the seller was honest.

amirasworld321 @nadira1982 Interesting that PM would do that without looking at evidence, not suprised though. I have another PM page with some luxury items. As an attorney, I’m willing to take legal action against any buyer that tries to do that. That is a crime, not to mention their address is on file/shipping label. Have you gotten scammed before?

nadira1982 @amirasworld321 I am currently awaiting my item back after the buyer lied and stated it was very worn. I am honestly terrified about how my sons Burberry jacket will look when I get it back😩 also they took long to send it back and PM sent me an email that stated if they didn’t send it back soon PM would just release my money, which further makes me think they wore it and messed it up and now they are trying to send it back in bad condition and not pay.

mg796d @esbee_69 1of2 -ugh this happened to me with a GORGEOUS Michael Kors purse- claimed it wasn’t “authentic” (a copy of the purchase receipt was included) then she sent it back ripped to Shreds and no matter how many attempts I made to ....

mg796d @esbee_69 2/2-reach out to posh support- after the longest run around - it was basically like “oh well” as if I was to blame for the destroyed purse - why would I have shredded my own effing bag ??? 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

jennahowell I can’t believe people are like this!!! I have been scammed where I have purchased items and seller cancelled transaction saying something went wrong with payment and sent me another link to pay and I was dumb enough to do so. So it looks like the transaction was just cancelled and my case was closed even though I have proof of payment. Why can’t people just be honest

nadira1982 @amirasworld321 it was returned with dirt spots on it and in a jacked up brown box, mind you I sent it in it’s original Nordstrom silver box with the bow and all. Poshmark gave me 20.00 because they couldn’t determine who was lying, what an insult! They definitely wore it and sent it back.

mg796d All in all- just protect your investments- don’t send anything you can’t afford to lose. POSHMARK IS AMAZING! but bottom line is bottom line- and as seller’s- we make their bottom line. (And they know we are replaceable 🤷🏼‍♀️)

amirasworld321 @mg796d Wow. I think the only way you are safe on PM is of your item is sold at $500/higher. Lower priced items involve a risk. I’m glad you were able to sew together you ripped item.

hush735 @paolapagan Wow I'm not SHOCK I had a similar situation on nother site the buyer cancel the item and got a Refund and Never sent my $100 boots back and I never Received my money gave me their address and told me to get a Police Report. The Scammers are out there and getting away with it. A Sad World...

thriftymermaid2 @321_shop I always take dated photographs of the item before closing the package. Some go as far to filming the packaging before mailing. Because I’ve had this happen too.

thriftymermaid2 @amirasworld321 Thankfully I have not had to, but I learned my lesson on eB@y. I received my first non 5 star rating though, I tried to dispute it because she said the dress I sold her “was not a maxi” when in fact it was a very long dress, I included the measurements, photos etc. I was so annoyed, but they would not remove the rating. 😑 but anything I sell I take a photo with the buyers info and date as I’m packaging it.

staceylemay69 i am a buyer, and I've purchased multiple items with no issue. but i decided to purchase a purse it was supposed to be the big one (that was stated in the description). When i received it, it was literally the smallest one. i immediately took photos and sent them to PM. i did receive a refund and ordered from someone else and got my order delivered yesterday. it was the exact one i wanted. im sorry that buyers get messed over it is not right. how do people sleep at night knowing what they did.

preluvdclosetpb They always side with the buyer. I had a girl purchase a dress from me and it was delivered to her on a Thursday before a long holiday weekend. She messaged 4 days later saying she just received it 🙄 and it has stains. She left me a 1 star review off stains she clearly got on the dress after wearing it. Poshmark did nothing about it

preluvdclosetpb @mg796d that is awful!! I’ve honestly heard some pretty bad stories. I had some Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Christian Louboutin items in my closet and I took them down because I know if something happens, Posh won’t haven’t back most likely.
