beccalynn97 It's been an eventful few weeks. We went to Tufts to discuss Finley's surgery and figure out the estimate, but unfortunately, that did not go as planned. They discovered at least 4 abnormalities with her heart that would basically kill her on the operating table. Two weeks after we received that news, we found out that she had progressed into Congestive Heart Failure and started the process of managing her heart through medications, diet, and activity restrictions.

beccalynn97 We're now using the funds we have saved, made through my resale sites, and that were donated to help pay for her very expensive medications that are maintaining her quality of life. She is on 10 drugs now, and two of them cost $160/month. Not to mention increasing cardiologist visits, frequent blood work and x-rays, and the occasional regular or urgent care vet visits.

Her cardiologist has said that in her current state, we are looking at 3-12 months with her. We are trying to maintain quality of life as well as spend as much time as we can with her. Thank you for your continued support and prayers for our little girl. It means the world.

omgfruit @beccalynn97 Finn was lucky to have had you to see her through - especially her bad days. The lessons she taught & the imprint she left on your heart will last forever. You'll carry those to the next soul you offer your home & heart to. She will be free from her pain, finally. One of our boys also has a murmur, & I will hug him extra tight for you both tonight. Things will get easier as the storm clouds pass & the sun shines again-be patient. You will never forget her. Sending you so much love.

beccalynn97 We said goodbye to our sweet girl last night. After a long battle with congestive heart failure she can finally rest. She was surrounded by her people and McDonald's chicken nuggies in the end. We love you so much sweet Finn ❤️
