Do these run big or small? Since you said they sizing didn't work out for you, I'm guessing they aren't true to size?

@miaanndempsey 8.5 is my true size but I usually size up a half size for shoes with pointed toes, my feet are wider at the toe box. I hoped with the lower heel it would be tolerable but it just wasn’t for me. Really bummed.
