Dolls handmade in India in traditional attire -vintage GUJARATI WOMAN

The 2 larger dolls are GUJARATI WOMAN and consist of traditional clothing over a soft, cloth body. This figure depicts a woman ot the nomadic Banjaran that• travel from one place to another, working for their livelihood. The men are known for their ironwork and the women for ornate Kutchi embroidery. This woman is attired in the LHANGA (skirt), CHOLI (blouse) ORHNI (Long Scarf) and traditional jewelry typical to Gujarat. The smaller dolls have wooden arms and no legs, just a small block of wood for a torso. They fit great on top of vases, baskets, etc
