mahalo24 @corneliusmaison I’ve been a Hula dancer for the past 10 years. I’m actually Native American/Mexican... but really it’s close enough 😂 every time I perform, visit Hawaii, or at a Hula event I’m always asked. I love the islands and would love to stay there permanently ❤️ I wish I had a money tree 🌲 that would make the decision to move so much easier 😝

corneliusmaison @mahalo24 oh that’s awesome! Hula is a serious art, that’s one of the few dances I’ve seen I admire:) do you live in California or something? It seems like there’s a big hula market there. What tribe are you descended from? I’m from the Pacific Northwest, I love Native American culture! I have Cherokee and Cheyenne from my mothers side.

I have to not only learn the moves but the language, locations/meaning of songs, how to make adornments, etc. yes I’m from SoCal...seems a lot of natives make their way here 💗 from what I know I’m part Yaqui and Aztec I still need to do some major digging to find out what other Tribes I’m from. Wow that great you know your native background 💕I’m still searching since my grandparents were mostly silenced and taught to be ashamed of where we come from 😢
