theriverpo I’m sorry, but the inside just does not look like a vintage Dooney. Nor do the handles. Is the hardware solid brass, do the rivets say “Dooney & Bourke?”

lolasinay To those think that without tag is not authentic is not true. I collected a lot of Dooney and purchased a lot since early 80 ‘s. Just FYI D& B made early 80’s don’t have the tag . I do own some I purchased from Nordstrom & Bon Marche (now Macy’s) that don’t have tag. It’s hard to tell authenticity by photo alone. You have to see it and feel the leather. Dooney s leather are high quality. Take note of stitches. Dooney stitches are tight and flawless.

I'm a mom, going back to grad school looking for a black doctor bag that I can keep my phone in, note cards, and my little lab/diagnostic book in. l'm broke after paying tuition and books. 2w0lucy @lolasinay this is true for the OG bags. Also, bags that have snipped and/or removed tags (you’ll still see the fraying of thread) could have been done by D&B if the bag was considered “defective”, the bag was stamped inside with “irregular”, and sold at the outlets.
