23,430 Dots painted on the "Libra Constellation" Jewelry Box Non-toxic water-based paints are used to hand-paint the tiny details on all the art in my Galaxy Paintings series. This jewelry box is part of the Galaxy series, aptly named because to me, they look like galactic images from deep space. While the tiny details draw in the viewer and offer a glimpse of distant galaxies, some of the box top Swarovski crystals form the Libra constellation of stars to add another dimension of design to impact the viewers' experience. A tiny magnet keeps the box closed, and the interior provides a protective layer of soft, rose-pink felt.
