Double strand pearl necklace

Up for grabs is a vintage pearl necklace. The size/length is 15" for entire piece. When worn, it hangs about 8 inches. The primary colors is ivory. The material is pearl. I am not a jeweler. I don't know if this piece is real pearls. I don't believe that it is real, but that's a guess... The condition is great. Possible uses are casual, formal, wedding, or just because... There are no defects to note.  Please evaluate the pictures as they are considered part of the description, and they show the actual item you will receive.
