A pair of women’s size 8 Dr. Martens limited edition Mae Mary Janes in the Temperley style made of Aunt Sally leather. That’s a mouthful! Basically the Temperley style refers to the Velcro hook and loop straps instead of the classic buckle closure and Aunt Sally leather is a MUCH softer pebbled leather that doesn’t really require much ‘wearing in’. These are NEW in their original box. However, both shoes have factory blemishes on the front tips of each one. Other than those two spots, they are in perfect condition. These were released as a nod to the 90’s a few years back with the white soles and Velcro straps. However, unfortunately for me, they do run a bit wide. I have thin narrow feet, and while you can pull the straps to be tight, I had gapping issues at the start of the toes. PLEASE keep that in mind when you’re looking at these shoes. It will likely benefit most, as Dr. Martens usually run VERY SNUG and require some effort to break them in. This particular pair is also nice in that you don’t have to worry with the extra fiddly buckles of the classic Mae’s. The leather is also extremely soft and easily bends. I’ve included a manufacturer’s picture to get a better idea of what they would actually look like when worn, as these have been in storage for a bit.
