Very soft, malleable leather. I found these at a great secondhand shop in Boston, and I've hardly worn them. They have some signs of wear, and the insoles are also a little worn, but still great and comfortable. I definitely prefer this type of leather to the more rigid leather that the unisex Dr. Martens are usually made of. It's less likely to tear over time! They're a size 7, but they fit more like a size 8 in any other shoe.
