@truekittycat1 here is the explanation you have been waiting for! I must say that my phone auto corrected insoles to soles, sorry about any confusion that might have caused. I'm also very sorry that you did not like my review, and I'd like to assure you I was just being honest.

Pictured above: The yellow docs I have had for 7+ years. I bought them used when I was 14. Although the print on the insoles of the shoes is very worn, they are obviously there, and they are still firmly glued in. The black docs are 2 years old and the insoles are completely visible.

The pink docs obviously do not have any insoles they are very uncomfortable and feel like standing on hard plastic. I find it very hard to believe that someone who frequently wears this brand would wear these & not notice this fact.
I have also attached a screen shot from the dr. Martens web sight showing just how much they cost to replace and that does not include shipping costs.
