Fabric does have stretch as it is 51% cotton, 46% nylon and 3% spandex. I always paired it with a Roz & Ali denim jacket that I also purchased from Dressbarn as shown in pictures. Denim jacket NOT included in this post (sold separately in another post). All my clothes are always hung up to air dry so dress is in very good condition.
