Thanks for your inquiry on the frames. Unfortunately, I cannot aver with full confidence an answer to your inquiry. Like most frames, the UV protection lenses can be removed (with proper measures taken), but I cannot guarantee that the thin, metal frames can support prescription lenses (especially since certain prescriptions require thick frames to support the width of the specialized lens). 👇👇👇

^^^👆👆👆 I have a personal pair and went to the eye doctor to get a prescription but after they told me the cost of the lenses (without having eyecare insurance), I never went forward with the process; therefore, I cannot attest to whether this is a practical option.
