Dyed Mother of Pearl Necklace & Bracelet

A statement hand made dyed mother of pearl necklace and bracelet set, perfect for beach holidays or festivals. The two pieces are made of mother of pearl that has been dip dyed blue and then hand wired to form corsage style floral bunches. The centers of the flowers are embellished with matching dyed glass pearls. The necklace has a vee shaped sturdy wire fame which forms the base for the front floral panel, this is attached at each side to a plaited leather thong. The bracelet has three floral sprays attached directly to a plaited thong (so that it can curve round the wrist). The bracelet measures approx. 8" long and fastens to the end with a button and loop, the necklace measures approx. 20" long and fastens wit a sturdy lobster clasp. This is a vintage set but shows very little wear other than slight chipping to the black finish on the thong in a couple of places.
