Edwardian belle époque bow-brooch.
This is an gorgeous statement brooch, created in England during the Belle Epoque and Edwardian era (1901-1910), back in the 1900. The beautiful brooch was carefully crafted with classical motifs in solid yellow gold of 18 karats and topped with platinum to enhance the settings of the diamonds. This brooch is embellished with a great assortment of forty-two earth mined natural white colorless diamonds. Highlighted with four large diamonds, mounted in the center, the ends and the one that hangs. The brooch is fitted at the reverse with a hinged horizontal pin bar with a hook lock to wear.
Larger Diamonds: Mount in four-prongs and bezel setting, with 4 Old European round diamond with a combined weight of about 1.65 carats, F/G color, VS clarity
Minor Diamonds: Mounted in French flush settings, with 37 graduated old European round and round single cut diamonds, with a combined weight of about 1.09 carats, white colorless F/H/I color, VS/SI clarity. The settings are finished with an impeccable millegrain patterns.
