This is the original Eileen Fisher Essential 100% linen tank top we've loved for so long. Before the new fibers, the blends, the complex weaves, the complicated cuts, there was this BASIC LINEN slub (a fabric with irregular appearance caused by an uneven thickness of the yarn) that was woven into a slightly stretchy cloth that was breathable, cool, and soft. Casual and sophisticated. It’s not a standard tank top. The original "basic" is long—almost tunic length—and has a subtle A-line shape, which makes it flattering, comfortable, and versatile. You can wear it under or over anything. Or wear it on its own as the most elegant tank top you never want to take off. (The new organic linen long tanks are ~1” longer and $108.) They don't make them exactly like this anymore. I get mine online, resale. They're well-made and live long. I got this one recently, but my size has changed again and it doesn't fit, so I'm reselling my resale. EXCELLENT USED CONDITION. I see no flaws. SIZE: SMALL. Relaxed Fit may fit size Medium. Pit to Pit, measured flat: 18.5" Length: 29" Yes, you can have it dry-cleaned, or wash it by hand as the label instructs. Or you could get away with machine washing it in cold on gentle and tumble drying it briefly on low heat. Just sayin'.
