When buttoned and lying flat, it measures 25 inches (or 50 inches). When allowing for the give in the fabric, it measures
when buttoned 27 inches (or 54 inches. Note the fabric has a slight rubbing to it. It really is a cute top and versatile. Hope this answers your question, if not let me know.
