ESPADRILLES, THE SUMMER SHOE!

True story: I was in England and my sandal broke. I popped into an H&M and saw these … every possible color. They were selling like crazy, so I bought them. I loved the ballet-tie looking thing. I wore them back to the hotel. Then I saw myself—or rather my sizable calves— under the ties. I grabbed my Chaco’s and never wore these again. It says size 40 and 6 1/2 (the BRIT conversion). I wear a 7 and 1/2 - 8.
