Kind of a DIY/craft project! The spider legs did some damage to the leather but otherwise excellent condition. I removed the spider on one side to cover the worst of the leather tearing with a cute little bee brooch. Just needs another little buggy brooch to cover the metal part that the spider was attached to. I was thinking ladybug or dragonfly but I prefer the heel version of this shoe and stopped searching for the perfect little bug friend. I do have the original spider and can send it too!

lamunster Can the spider brooch be removed without an damage being done?

mrseven @lamunster yes, the spider is built into the shoe with a screw. The picture of the other shoe with the gold hole is where I took out the other spider by unscrewing it.

lamunster @mrseven is there any way of seeing a photo without the spider brooch and the bug? I am interested but I’d probably prefer them without them.
