Jokingly called the Cooking Bible by many cooks, this 1953 edition is a classic favorite. Filled with many delicious recipes with beautiful pictures and all the essential HOW TOs of cooking, makes this cookbook an amazing resource. My copy was a gift from my mother, who thought I might broaden my horizons and start cooking! Much to her disappointment, it has just remained untouched but stored safely from dust and light in my kitchen cabinet. It really is like new, except it's missing the plastic wrapping it originally came in. By the way, my grandmother gave my mom a copy too when she was young and starting out in life, and I can attest that my mom is an amazing cook and still cherishes her copy!
