I bought them new, wore them twice, and am a big ol' baby about shoes not being comfortable - I'm about a size US 7.5-8 wide for reference. tasselhoff Thanks, that is helpful! I see that you typically wear a wide (I have a pretty average width foot and don't find many issues fitting into typically sized 7.5). Do you reckon that's the reason why these feel tight on you?

eilonwyzena @tasselhoff to be honest, it felt "short", as though my toes wanted an extra few centimeters of space forward, rather than the sides of my foot complaining. That's why I describe it as possibly running small: it felt closer to a 7 in terms of length, but the width wasn't too bad. They're great, I just think I need an EU39 rather than an EU38 (which these are.) I hope that made some sense - my feet aren't always the most articulate, lol!
