My mom made me this dress for my 18th birthday in 1999. I'm not sure the age of the fabric that she used but it was from an older set of other vintage materials she collected from the 70's and 80's.
I was about an XL and 14-16 when she made it. Worn once. I never used the matching messenger bag she made me, also pictured and included.
Please see laid flat measurements. The material is a poly/cotton blend with some spandex/lycra. I don't know the percentages, but it does have some stretch. It is a thicker material with a bit of metallic throughout. Very well made. Gives Americana vibes!

Hi! I’m a little confused on the size, I’m probably just confusing myself haha but I see you mentioned that it’s a xl (14-16) but the pictures measurements don’t add up? Hopefully you can help me :) thank you!

@a_rud the measurements are taken laid flat, straight across… so roughly double each for full wrap around. Hope that helps!
