EXTREMELY RARE Sz S 1980’s Runway Comme des Garcons Asymmetrical Silk Skirt

This is a beloved item for TRUE Japanese fashion enthusiasts and collectors. It is difficult to track the exact origin of this exceptionally rare item, but I have confirmed it is circa late-1980’s and was featured on the runway. There is no way to properly convey how incredibly unique this piece is - an asymmetrical cut with extraordinary detailed hems and crushed velvet panels, full sheer in the back. Layers of silk make this skirt as ornate as it is HIGHLY fashionable. Mid-to-high rise, no stretch, zipper closure. As this garment is so delicate and old, it does have some flaws - some fraying, a barely-visible stain on the back, and a missing eye for the hook and eye closure.
