Early 1900's Chinese Shantou Pewter Tea Caddy With Reverse Painted Glass Panels

This exquisite antique Chinese Shantou Pewter Tea Caddy dates back to the early 1900s and features stunning reverse painted glass panels. Made of pewter, the octagonal (8- sided) shape with ornate framed panels around the reversed painted, multi-colored glass scenes showcases the intricate craftsmanship of the era. This item originates from China (1900-1920s), and has the embossed makers mark on the bottom (see last pic). Measuring 7.25” H x 4.25” W x 1.75” diameter spout opening and weighs 3 pounds 3oz.
