A stunning Indian Golden Oriole Bird (Oriolus kundoo) created by Karl Ens. The life-sized porcelain bird stands upon an elaborately detailed tree stump base. The bird is a rare Figural piece very lifelike and beautifully modeled. Its exquisitely laid out, with leaves, and in a natural setting. The coloration and glaze make the bird truly look life-like. The bird has a yellow body, yellow-green black-feathered wings and tail, green eye feathers, green beak and feet; and its perched upon a white tree trunk with leaves. This oriole bird figurine is of exceptional quality and is finished in a shiny glaze. On the undersides is the authentic Ens factory mark. A wonderful addition for any Karl Ens or antique German porcelain figurine collector. Maker: This was produced by the Karl Ens Porcelain Factory of Volkstedt, Germany during the early 20th century.
