Early Century Black and Gold Silk Brocade Coat Helene Pons Studio

Truly gorgeous silk brocade opera coat from legendary Broadway designer Helene Pons. Coat is gold and black floral silk brocade, fully lined in luxurious black silk. Swingy open style, no closure, with loose kimono-style sleeves with folded pointy cuff, collar and lapel. Exquisite and stunning. There’s a small patch of wear or fabric irregularity to the brocade (last pic) lower backside, but it’s mostly camouflaged as the light shifts. Not consequential when wearing. There’s a tiny pick scratch on the collar, but could be natural irregularity in the silk. Doesn’t detract. Tag: Helene Pons Studio New York No size tag.
