Earthworks Barbados Red Clay Ceramic Pottery Succulent Planter or Bonsai Plant Pot. Lovely hand crafted pot in the shape of a little house or shed with blue shutters. Stamped "Earthworks Barbados" on the underneath. In excellent pre-owned condition with no chips or cracks. It has a naturally rustic look. It does not have a drainage hole and is quite small, so it could hold a couple of 1.8-inch nursery pots with tiny succulents, or fill with dry moss or rocks and place some air plants on top. Would also look cute with a faux succulent. It could also be used as a trinket dish, sugar packet holder, jewelry dish, or use in the bathroom to hold q-tips or cotton balls. It measures about 4 inches long and 3 inches wide. Quite heavy for its size.
Earthworks is a pottery studio based in Barbados. It was established in 1983 by Goldie Spieler, and is now run by her son David. They specialize in red clay ceramic pieces fired to stoneware temperatures.
