I purchased a coat like this but mine was missing the liner. I have worn it year round, wearing layers underneath in winter. It keeps out the rain and the wind. It looks nice so can wear with dress clothes or casual. I have worn mine on the beach in Washington State as well as Florida, canyons and hiking in Arizona and many other places. It is a perfect coat!
