@nls2388 I usually wear a XXL and think it's a little big for me. The sleeves stretch to over 9in & are longer so give more room to stretch up top. It's open front so there's always more room then you need but laying flat the back from side to side 26in and stretches to almost 38in. The marled pattern is nice because it doesn't show the stretch at all. It's one of the comfiest sweaters I own just slightly too big for me :) let me know if you have any other questions.
