Edwardian White Nightgown Romantic Embroidery Pintucking Lace Timeless Cotton

Edwardian White nightgown, I believe it is handmade with pintucking, shell buttons, pierced lace and embroidery. Has long front button and open placket. Ruffled cuffs. This is made from a woven starchy cotton. Has a couple of frays see photos and some thick thread weave areas.I am not really sure how old this is. Last photo is of an add for the nightgown and not sure if it was a pattern to sew your own or purchase. It is sew by machine but this is surely not a new item very old. There is some basing stitches so maybe this was a handmade item it does not have any labels or look like it ever did! Measurements: Bust:38" Waist:50" Hips:62" Armhole are 12" so please take note of this!!! Sleeve:18.75" Shoulders:12.5" Cuffs: Band is 10" and the bottom of the ruffle is 14" the bicep of the sleeve19" The Victorian and Edwardian nightgown has come back into fashion. Long white cotton nightgowns with ruffles, lace and pleating are romantic, comfortable and timeless. Cotton, linen, nainsook, cambric, flannel or silk nightgowns were what most women wore at the turn of the century. Last photo is an ad for the nightgown it is number1539 and it was from the year 1902. I would think this is a more of collector item.
