It is an urban inspired clothing line that consist of denim, jeans, headwear, hoodies and t-shirts that is available worldwide, but exclusive to certain independent boutiques and department stores. It is another premium exclusive brand that comes along with the healthy price tag. The brand changed hands when it was purchased by seasoned streetwear entrepreneur Jonathan Koon in 2008. It was spun out from Jay-Z’s ROC Apparel Group into it’s own entity, Young Jeezy 8732 Apparel Ltd, which falls under the umbrella of Koon’s Tykoon Brand Holdings company. The 8732 brand is currently out of production, but could return at any time. Jeezy surprised fans in a September 2010 interview when he announced that 8732, which then was believed to be on hiatus or discontinued, was back in full force and that “8732 has matured, just as I have.” Shortly after the brand went on yet another hiatus and its future is uncertain.
