When I bought it, I was convinced it had to be natural citrine gemstones. But they tested as glass on the Presidium. It is an adjustable length necklace 18-20”, so I don’t suspect it is very old, maybe vintage 80s. But the craftsmanship of the piece is something fantastic. There is no maker’s mark. If I had crafted a piece this beautiful, I’d want my name all over it. It is not mass produced, as I cannot find another one like it. The only conclusion I can come to is that an artisan made it. Usually when I buy artisan pieces, I meet the jeweler who crafts the pieces, and they are always fine jewelry pieces, not fashion.
