Elegant Silver and White Cross Pendant Necklace

Small but chunky rustic Cross. A simple cross of Mother of Pearl shell, set into a hand forged sterling silver setting. The surface of the metal is quite rough and textured in places from the forging process. The result is quite unique - simple, but with an almost ancient quality. All silver has been oxidised and sanded to highlight the texture of the metal. Simple tube bail. Stamped 925 on reverse for sterling silver. Suspended from a fine, oval link 26” oxidized chain. Spring ring clasp, stamped 925 for sterling silver. The tube bail at the top has an internal diameter of just under 3mm, which could also work well on a leather cord necklace.
