Elegant Vintage 50s Cocktail Wiggle Dress

Own a piece of history! This fabulous, vintage 1950's wiggle dress is in excellent condition. Featuring short sleeves, a scoop neck, metal side zipper, and sculpted silhouette-- the dress even has clips on the inside waist for perfect tailored "cinched waist" fit (mind you the dress is a bit large on the model so you don't quite see the effect in the photos). The fabric is a nice thick brocade of champagne-colored swirls (not quuuuite a true gold) on a cream background. No tags remain, but I suspect based on wash and feel, the fiber is a cotton or cotton blend. The skirt is lined in a cream taffeta. No found flaws in the dress (just a little wrinkled), and well suited to a modern Medium. Approx.
