Elegant & rare vintage Frank Starr dress. Hollywood couture. Rhinestones

Fabulous Frank Starr floor length gown, designed by Ruth Goude. Vintage Hollywood couture! Rivet set rhinestones and gold tone faceted studs. Padded shoulders, front 15” slit. Elegant body shaping silhouette, gathered waist. Three metal zipper locations: top back of neck (5”), side (17”), and at each sleeve cuff (4-1/2”). All zippers smooth and work great. Frank Starr and his father Malcolm sold glamorous fashion to old Hollywood from the 1930’s to mid 60’s. Ruth Goude was a lead designer for the company. Unsure of fabric but possibly rayon crepe, and tag appears to be from the later 1940’s according to my research but buyer to verify. Dress in excellent condition.
