cmdviola I can't really see how the skirt or sleeves work..more photos? Also, size 18 should work but i'd love to see your measurements for Bust/waist/and length (s). No rush.thanks.

mptstyle @cmdviola hi! I added more photos to the listing of the hem and sleeves. The hem is a handkerchief cut, so it is longer in the sides and goes in toward the center. The sleeves are a slight balloon shape near the cuff which then comes into an elastic finish. Measurements have changed since I last wore the dress, but it was probably close to 43-38-51. I hope this is helpful!

cmdviola Yes,this is quite a bit better. The measurements are really key. I can see that the elastic at the sleeve cuff is quite narrow. I get the hankerchief shape of the hem. I am shopping for 44/37/47...so probably good, unless you though it was tight across the chest? It looks like there is a front slit at the neckline..and maybe a zipper at the back? And...at the waist..there is smocking....all they way around the dress? How is that elastic holding up?

mptstyle @cmdviola those measurement sound spot on! I didn’t think it was tight in the chest.. I remember there was a bit more room still. There is an opening in the chest/front that you could safety pin if you thought was too low. The elastic waist is in perfect shape (not stretched out in any way) and does go all the way around the waist. Zipper up the back. It’s a super flattering shape! Very lightweight.

cmdviola Oh Thanks very much..I think the fit would be fine, but now I have my doubts that she will like the colors.....actually, probably like them,but wearing them is a different question. I will need to confer with the daughter.
