Pair of clips-earrings designed by Elizabeth Gage.
Gorgeous pair of vintage earrings, created in London by the British jewelry designer Elizabeth Gage, back in the 1993. These rare clip-on earrings has been carefully crafted as a left and right pair, in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished finish. Designed with organics motifs and embellished with a pair of carved lion's head and applications of peach color enamel over a foiled hammered pattern. They are fitted at the reverse with hinged French omega backs for fastening clips and the addition of posts for pierced ears can be easily done.
Citrines: Mounted in bezel settings, with 2 pieces of natural orange citrine carved in the shape of lion heads.
Weight: 42.95 grams (27.54 Dwt.).
Measures: 30 mm by 26 mm (1.18 by 1.02 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks; the mark of the lion for the city of London, the letter T for the production year of 1993, the mark for the gold assay and signed in full, "GAGE .750 T. EG SGDG".
