Armpit to armpit is 17” , it’s 22 1/2 inches long (hits at the hip). Remember it is petite, so best fit is for those 5’4” under due to length.

The length was from the shoulder to the hem. The material is a cotton polyester blend. I wouldn’t say it’s stretchy. Is there a specific issue you're concerned about re the fit?

Ahh, I see..... I’d say if you wear a size 2 shirt/blouse, the jacket should fit you with some room- wouldn’t be tight.

Regular size 2 is about the equivalent of the measurement for a petite 4. I don’t know if that helps you make your decision.
