Ely soft possibly vegan/leather hobo purse handbag

Absolutely beautiful new never used hobo hand bag. Unable to find if this is genuine leather or vegan leather. During research I was unable to find the designer producing this bag any longer so couldn't find the material. It feels like a soft leather and that it may only get softer with use.
