Unique, to say the least, hand made garment. Embroidered Chinese Silk Jacket Kimono Robe Duster Opera Coat Embroidered fabric (silk and rayon, I believe) is basically gold with Asian design, satin burgundy trim at cuffs, lapels, and pockets, with a highlighting sash outlining such. It is lined with what appears to be gold satin. This is the real deal, is absolutely not a flimsy item. Size: armpit to armpit is about 18-20", depending on how tightly the robe is worn. Sleeve length is about 25" from top of shoulder. Overall length, measured in the back of the garment, from the bottom of the collar to the hem is about 50". Heads up costume designers and any company performing Madame Butterly. It does show wear consistent with age and does have some flaws, clearly shown in the photos: belt loop needs reattachment, and there is some wear at the sleeve cuffs.
