Emerson Radio runs on electric and batteries- Weather Radio

This is an Emerson radio that runs on electricity or batteries, though I didn’t test it with batteries just because I didn’t have any on hand, but from what I read it can work with either. It is from 2009 but I don’t think it was used much, if at all as it’s in great condition. I think it might be a weather radio, so if there’s a storm and you lose power you can unplug it and still have tornado or hurricane warnings from the radio because of the back up battery power. It has an antenna and can do AM or FM, so when you aren’t using it as a weather radio you can use it to listen to music on or even listen to the local football game in your garage or even backyard since it has batteries. It doesn’t appear to have anything wrong with it or any damage and it worked great when I plugged it in and tested it. Don’t be sorry later when you lose electricity and have no way to get the weather! Weather radios are an important part of any family’s emergency preparedness kit. If your family doesn’t have an emergency preparedness kit you REALLY should set one up. There’s not a place in the US that’s not vulnerable to severe weather, either bad storms or hurricanes or tornadoes, every state gets hit by one or another, some both. Don’t forget wild fires, this could warn you about those too!
