Emmons White Flower Bouquet with Pastel Rhinestone Brooch

This vintage Emmons brooch features a spray of white celluloid flowers accented with multi-colored, pastel rhinestone centers. The bouquet also features a gold tone metal flower in the center with bigger pink rhinestone. A gold tone metal frame makes up the leaf base. Measures approximately 2.5" x 1.5". Emmons Jewelers Inc. began in 1949 in Newark, New York. Charles H. Stewart, its founder, named his company after his wife Caroline Emmons Stewart. The company sold its jewelry through home parties. From 1949 until 1955, Emmons jewelers marked their products with “Emmons” and a copyright sign next to it, which dates this vintage piece within that timeframe. Charles H. Stewart was also the founder of Sarah Coventry. This piece is in very good condition. There are no missing stones and all flower petals are intact. A perfect addition to a jewelry collector's collection!
