I tried them on over tights and they were too big for me (my waist was the right size but my hips were not big enough so there was some wrinkling). These are size 42/44 (which is generally a 10-12 US) but I included the measurement chart so you can make sure that it might fit. I got the measurement chart for the waist size but not the hip size for this piece and I didn’t think about stretching. The return shipping to Sweden was too expensive so I will be selling them to recoup as much of the cost as possible.
