Enameled Copper Drop Earrings

These 1-inch earrings were cut into teardrop shapes then enameled in my studio here in Seattle. Multiple layers of finely ground glass are sifted on to the shapes then fired, front and back. Then tiny glass "stringers" are placed with fine tweezers and the earrings are fired again. Those stringers expand and flatten, creating abstract lines and whorls. Once completed, I add sterling silver jump rings and ear wires and package them for gift giving or keeping. All orders are made by hand in my Seattle studio.
