Engagement ring- beautiful platinum Old European Cut diamond engagement ring from the 1910s-20s. Set with shimmering OEC diamonds and created from precious platinum for more security of the diamonds. These lovely old stones shine with fire and mystery - so different from modern-day diamonds! The center diamond measures about 4.1 mm across (estimated .25 carat) and the 2 side diamonds measure approximately 3.3 mm across each (.14 ct each). Total diamond weight for the entire ring is estimated to be just over half carat (.50 ct). The ring weighs a luxurious 5.3 grams. Stamped inside for platinum "PLAT". The diamonds are white and near colorless or better estimated VVS1 or better (eye clean- only very slight inclusions visible under high magnification). The widest portion of basket holding the diamonds measures 7 mm North to South and 16 mm East to West. Total ring weight is 5.3 grams. Currently the band is a size US 6.
