Antique Victorian era sterling silver water jug pitcher by Holland, Aldwinkle & Slater of London, England, circa 1894.
Beautiful and elegant short and wide water jug pitcher, lightly hammered with ribbed design at top.
Measures approx 7" high, 8 1/2" wide from tip of spout to end of the handle, 4 1/2" diameter opening, 3 1/2" diameter base.
Weighs approx 865g, 556dwt
Fully hallmarked on bottom with Holland, Aldwinkle & Slater hallmark of TS WS HH (indication Thomas Alfred Slater, Walter Brindsley Slater and Henry Arthur Holland) lion passant (indicating sterling silver) leopard (London city mark) T (date mark for 1894).
Very nice antique condition, some tarnish and discoloration spots and light surface scratches. No major dents or dings.
