The detachable Tencel scarf is black-and-white polkadot and the visor is made of Squishee which is a man-made material incorporating recycled fibers and will not crack or melt when wet. It is more durable than straw. The visor is in a natural straw color and the hat blocks about 95% of the UVA/UVV rays. The back of the visor has elastic that helps the hat adjust to various head sizes and shapes. The peak span is 3.5 inches. The hat is lightweight and easy to pack.
