(1) Lot of (3) Cast Brass Erotic Figurines Vintage Origin: Akan/Ashanti Tribes, Ghana, West Africa Brief history...Akan weight figurines were used to measure gold dust that was used as currency by the Akan people of Ghana, West Africa prior to the invention of coin currency. The weights in this listing are made of brass using the lost-wax casting method. However, these erotic weights were not made to weigh gold dust, but were intended as collectibles or simply as a conversational decoration.
